An interest list is maintained for both the preschool and the infant-toddler groups. Families may ask to be placed on the interest list before or after the birth of the child.
We will work with each family to determine the best pathway for enrollment — through the partnering agencies of The Ohio State University, The Child Development Council of Franklin County Head Start or Columbus City Schools.
When there is an opening, generally in the summer or fall, parents are notified and an interview is arranged.
Families currently enrolled have priority for the following school year and younger siblings of children currently enrolled in the laboratory school will be given priority as well.
A child is considered to be admitted to the program only after the required paperwork and deposit fee (when applicable) are received.
